Modern Day Abe by Curtis Johnson

This pro-bono project was done by Curtis Johnson for Martin Williams. The images reflect that anyone can be a modern day Abe Lincoln. The Modern Day Abe Campaign's mission is to bring awareness and abolish modern day slavery and human trafficking. Unfortunately, it still flourishes in today's world, including the the United Sates. Pretty sad!

EAS Production Stills

...with commentary by Steve Bonini
The shoot was really fun and diverse ranging from boxing shots in a gym environment to scouting treacherous terrain on mountain bikes to find gnarly switchbacks surrounded by beautiful vistas.
The shoot consisted of photographing Superbowl stud, Larry Fitzgerald, Mountain bike racer Mark Weir, and Quarterback Brady Quinn over the course of 3 days in beautiful Sedona and Phoenix Arizona.
Nobody got stung by varmints, although a few of us got pierced by some pretty scary cactus!! All in all, it was a great shoot and I love the images.

Make Believe Dinosaur & the Huddle

Dennis Welsh just sent over this shot. Adorable! Ferocious! Here is what he had to say about it:
"It is part of a series of images depicting how a child would view
the world at a certain time in history - this one being when dinosaurs
roamed the earth. I'm always attracted to the clarity of their vision
and I've tried to convey that here. More of these to come!"
Here's another interesting image from a recent shoot Dennis did in Kentucky:
"Coming out of a sports background, I'm usually capturing the higher energy of a sport, but in this shot, I tried to concentrate on the inner-connectivity and the more pensive side of teamwork."
